Funny how this meme reeks of American pride, yet they use a Philippine-made Rock Island for the pic.

Ha ha ha... I wish this forum had a "like" button too!

So many of my friends have seen my RIA 1911 .45 ACP (#51431 from Armscor) that they can't believe it is so well made for an expensive Philippine made handgun! Roughly around 750 rounds and has NEVER had a problem. No failures of any kind at all!

My son-in-law has a Glock 19, and I have shot it at the range, and he shot my RIA. He fell in love with it right then and there! Meanwhile, I just couldn't get comfortable with his Glock. Something was odd about it, how it felt, the grip, the angle, and mostly the weird trigger system.

I'll stick with a 107 year old design...

Party Pooper.

With all the politics and mass shootings we need a glock bashing thread every once in a while just for fun.

OMG... dsk mentioned a BB gun. Can you believe a company actually makes a 1911 version of a BB gun pistol?!?

Not trying to be a party pooper... I just think, if you're going to make a bold statement at least use a REAL 1911. You certainly don't see Glock fanboys using Airsoft guns in their memes!

Hey, the BB gun is 4.5mm, so at least the numbers are correct.

That's a fine looking pistol. Those grips (VZ?) look very nice on it.
