I received my CQB back from Wilson today

Is the checkering more aggressive? It's hard for me to tell, but I'm looking at the pictures on my phone.

It does feel a bit different, but as far as I can tell it's the same LPI. I think the points may be a little sharper. I'm very pleased.

Looks much better matched to the grip width now. Is it the same frame or a new one?

Would have to be same frame unless they gave him a new one and sent it to his FFL as that's the serialized part.

I just noticed that they undercut the trigger guard a little higher, too. Very cool.

That is not true. As long as it is the same model gun a manufacturer can replace a defective gun and send it directly back to you. That is unless you live in a nanny state.

remanez is right. The frame has been replaced with same serial number, it can be delivered to the same address. My smith & Wesson shorty fourty performance center .40 I bought new had a front frame rail cracking. A few months later new frame, repaired gun.
