Difference between Standard, Commander & Officer Types

I am fairly new to 1911s.
My first ones are a pair of LLamas (standard and Mini-Max II) that I got for a price that I couldn't refuse. (Where if I don't like them, I can sell each of them at more than cost.)

I am unclear as to the REAL differences and similarities between the 3 types in the standard 1911.
The so-called original/standard model, the Commander and the Officer models.

What are the differences ?
What are the similarites ?
What are the possibilities of interchanging parts ? (Is there a table where all the parts are listed and defined as cross-compatible ?)
And what are the differences in advantages/disadvantages between using one vs the others ?
What are the models of the better-known brands in each of the categories ?

Note that at present I am NOT interested in getting into a discussion about different brands and personal opinions about which brand is better.

Thank you

The differences between the three types are only in size of the frame, slide, and barrel. For the most part, all other parts are interchangeable. Exceptions would include certain springs (like the recoil spring, and sometimes the mainspring) and of course the parts that are of different sizes.
