Sight replacement on FEG clone???

Hi folks. I have an FEG PJK-9HP Hi-Power clone that has proved to be an excellent gun. However, I would like to have adjustable sights instead of the fixed factory sights. The rear sight is dovetailed and appears to be removable, however the front metal sight looks like it is actually part of the slide with no discernible way to remove it. Is it possible to change these sights? Has anyone had it done, and if so, who does it? Thanks.

It it silver soldered on (I think). You could get it dovetailed for cheap ($100) by a smith.

I have 2 of the PJK 9HPs, and I tried to put an aftermarket adj rear sight on one of them. Problem was that the front sight was too short for the rear sight, so it always shot really high. You would have to replace both the front and rear sights, and like was mentioned earlier that would entail getting the front dovetailed to put a new taller sight on. Good Luck. LIV

I put a PSI adjustable rear sight on my PJK-9HP. It works fine. The sight can be drifted out and then replaced with this sight. Brownells also carrys the sight. The sight that fits is .280 dovetail, for the Vigilant.
