SHOT show 2014

Anyone heard any rumors of new models that will be released?

I have already heard about the 2 Glocks pistols. Yippee! Yawn.

I have not heard anything yet but I can't let myself get excited about new stuff from shot show. I did that with the Kimber Micro Carry in 2012 and I'm still waiting.
I’m not “afraid” of the dark; I’m just perturbed by the inherent absence of light.

I would not get too excited about it.

Half of the stuff that people see at the shot show. Well you never actually see it for sale anywhere until maybe three or four years later.

Remington is coming out with a 9mm and Commander 1911 according to Guns and Ammo. Springfield has a 9mm Range Officer coming out too.

SHOT Show 2014

My annual wishlist of thing I want to see announced at SHOT Show:

- Brand new rollmark design for the Colt 1991

- "Compact" FNX 45 built on the FNX 9/40 frame.

- Springfield Armory is once again offering blued/parkerized barrel bushing and recoil spring plugs instead of only offering those parts in stainless steel.

- Remington will now offer 1911s with blued/black barrel bushing and recoil spring plugs.

*I really hate stainless steel barrel bushings, in case you haven't noticed.*

- Firm release date for the Colt 1913 repro.

- Hornady Critical Duty and Winchester PDX1 in 10mm Auto.

- Announcement by Winchester that the Ranger T-Series with its sharper "blades" is being brought back into full production and will once again be offered to the general public instead of only being offered off of their "Winchester Law Enforcement" website

- Announcement by Silencerco that their "Sparrow" line of suppressors will be offered for 9mm, .45 ACP, and .40 S&W.

- Announcement by Winchester of a full-line of third party accessories for the SPX Defender line of shotguns. The line has been out for two years now, it's WAAAY past time we had tube extenders, chainsaw grips, pistol grips, replacement stocks, flashlight attachments, red dot sights, etc. for what is now Winchester's primary home defense line of shotguns.

Rumor has it that STI is introducing two new pistols this year. It's not real clear if they are completely new models or extensions of a couple of existing model lines. If true, Shot Show would be the logical place to debut them.

Now if I could ever figure out how to wrangle a pass to the show...
