PMP 223 ammo

Is the south african PMP ammo any good? It seems cheap to buy but is it a good buy? It comes in sealed "battle paks".

I used it in my Mini-14. I had two rounds' primers fail to ignite. I also tried it in my AR-15 and had the same problem. I used new PMP ammo.

I'd stick with Winchester Q3131A which is also sold as IMI M193 ball ammo, 55 grain FMJ. They're excellent for home defense and target practice.

I have fired about 1,000 rounds of PMP (new production, not the battle packs) through my Bushmaster. I've have had no problems.
