Had one for about a year. 1000+ rounds through it. Had some FTE issues, so I relaced the extractor with a Wilson Combat. Also replaced the firing pin return spring with a Wilson Extra Strong (firing pin retaining pin will not stay in with any other drop-in extractor, so I leave it out.) Runs great with factory mags and Chip McCormick mags. Great gun for the price.

And don't forget mopeds. I had a PT1911 and had some issues with Customer No Service. Several times they would not answer their phone or would transfer me to a dead line.

Really like my PT1911 just prefer not to have the rail. They shoot great and havent havent had any problems.

I have under a thousand rounds through my pt1911, so far no problems, but i hate the sights.
