Taurus PT 1911 Grip Screws

Hello all!

First time post on this forum for me, although I have been reading it quite a bit for a while.

I recently bought new grips for my PT 1911 and found that the previous owner had all but stripped the heads out of the original grip screws. I was just wondering if anyone knows if normal 1911 grip screws will fit or if I would have to order new screws from Taurus.

Thanks and love the forum!

I changed the grips on my Taurus and also changed the screws. Standard 1911 grip screws should work. One change I like is using hex head screws instead of slotted. Easier to use and no screw driver gouges in the grips.
