anyone know what duracoat is closest to magpuls FDE

Which color on the duracoat website would most likely match Magpul's flat dark earth gear?

http://www.houtsenterprises.net/dur_browns.html

any help is appreciated

Just a guess, but I would say the one that is labeled - "Magpul Flat Dark Earth"

I am no expert but would hazard a guess that Steel609 has nailed it.

The couple times that I've used duracoat, it is pretty much right on in color. Where it seems to be an issue is mixing in the hardener because it can change the glossiness of it and possibly give the appearance that it doesn't match.

DC is generally much lighter than indicated in the pictures in my experience. "Desert Mint" looked more like "Refrigerator Light Beige". I've learned to go for the really dark colors when ordering DC.

To get that picture to remotely resemble Magpul FDE, I had to take the picture into Photoshop, and add +84 brightness, +31 contrast:
