Triple build

Just finished a triple build. I had taken a small sabatical from 1911 building for several years but needed to get these out of my safe. THese are just range grade guns, but nice none the less.
Parkerized then Cerakoted black.
I will shoot them on Friday w the customer and regulate the sights and hopefully no hiccups.

I like the serations you machined into the top of the slide....

curious if you ever tried angling them the other way to give some bite for one handed cycling of the slide.

Alittle more about the build, all three are for one customer. One is for my customer and the other two for his sons. Two of the pistols are consecutive serial #'d. THey were built off of Caspain frame and slides.
I machined front and rear sight cuts, machined top of slide, fit BT and checkered frontstraps.
THey were supposed to be thrown together real quick so they could take them to the range and abuse them. But fast forward 5 years later and I guess I am alittle late. Glad I have a patient customer.

Brian R. glad you like my little site.
Barmandr No I will probably not take any more work from the general puplic. There are still a few guns in the safe that I need to get to from way back.
SSN vet, good idea I might need to try that one day.
Bob glad to see your still around. I might try to do one or two more 1911's next year.
