I'm guessing it's something concealed carry oriented and not a 1911.

Colt Defender and Springfield Ultra Compact, for carry around town.

Some assembly required, batteries not included, always check with your doctor, consult a lawyer if coughing persist.

The day I bought my Champion a few years ago, they also had a used V10 Ultra Compact. I was set on the Champion and had driven a couple of hours to get it, but I almost changed my mind.

I have a Range Officer Compact with 4" barrel and Officers frame. This seems like a good size for a small 45ACP 1911 that is comfortable to shoot. It weighs 28 Oz and feels superb in the hand. After a few years of shooting a XDs 45ACP, I sold it because the narrow grip frame was pounding my hand. The Range Officer Compact in 45ACP, was a most welcome replacement. I have often wondered how the smaller 1911s shoot and handle recoil and how their owners like the size and weight reduction.

anywhere. It's like new and i have the box, original grips,
and it's all steel. The new "SA Compact" is different.

I also have this Kimber Compact (Officer frame / 4" barrel)
to which I have checkered the grip and added night sights.

It's nice to carry and shoots like butter...

I used to build a lot of customs off those old compacts, i'm glad to see SPFD has brought the compact version back. Here's one I did years ago probably around 2006 I think, sorry for the poor pictures.
