Army 84-04; DAC 08-now

Retired soldier, serving still as an Army civilian. Served in uniform for 20 years in the “black boot” Army. That said, the soldiers we have now are as good as those in my days.

Am proud to serve with them in my capacity. We do continue to have the best Army on the planet.

I took advantage of the new V.R.A.P. benefit in 2014, and went back to
school for a year to expand my IT skills and get several certifications;
I was 57 at the time and the oldest of the other students was 20.

It was a lot of fun.

Thank you Odinkar, but as I mentioned in Post #19, I wasn’t entering the give-away. Please don’t interpret that as me not being grateful for the opportunity, I am, but honestly, I have too many grips already, heck, I should probably do a couple give-always myself.

Please pick a different winner, preferably a member who actually posted a military themed meme.

Thank you, as I told "Odinkar 105", this is the first time I've entered anything and won.

The picture was taken at Camp Casey, in the motor pool. I was just clowning around at the time.

I was a 5 ton driver and in-charge of the battalion's ammo dump.
Once in a life time experience, never had an inkling to go back.
