Your favorite Browning High Power movie?

A Moderator gave approval, providing we keep it on subject, so I will start it off. Lots of good ones out there.

I say, The Final Option.

"The Usual Suspects" far and away. Except for the sparks flying everywhere, that boat scene is damn good.

Regards,
Lucky

"Raiders of the Lost Ark"

Where Indy puts a Hi-Power to good use defending Marianne in the bar scene.

Favorite goofy scene, is in The Bodyguard, when Costner is using his HP as a pointer, lasing his client's sister.

Mira Sorvino puts a BHP to good use in The Replacement Killers. I'll give a second nod to Raiders of the Lost Ark.

The absolute best use of a pair of ivory handled Hi-Powers was in the Richard Harris flick "99 and 44/100% Dead" with Chuck Conners .... in fact the pistols were the best thing about the film!!!!!

Beverly Hills Cop I, II and III.

Eddie Murphy does a great tactical reload, one handed, after being wounded.

The CSI Miami show where Horatio is extradited to Brazil and I think it is the police chief that gives him the BHP when he lets him go at his house!!!

Ditto on the Bervely Hills Cop movies, Eddie Murphy does a credible job of gun handling.

It's not for long. He gets it in the bar scene when he is saving Marianne from the nazi thugs.

"Indy" also carried but never fired a Hi Power on a freighter scene when a German submarine crew came aboard and captured 'Ms. Ravenwood.' "Indy" of course later rescued her - surprise, surprise.

I don't like the implication that HPs are only good for third world powers that can't afford to equip their ambassadors with polymer weapons.

There are a few close ups of real killers High Power in the movie Dead Bang (1989). I would say this would be my favorite and caught my interest in the gun.

Definitely a good one. The scummy looking bad guy in the film (Frank Military) is a well known producer. Likes his guns.

That's a very cool movie, and not bad PR at all for the SAS.

I'm confused way of the gun both leads used 1911's who used the HP? Jimmy Caan was cool with his 5 shot j frame.

Chris loved that movie except Don Johnson .... referring to the bad guy as "just another punk with a Browning HP".

Wild Geese esp where the Sgt Major used it to motivate the troopie who collapsed on his parade ground. Nothing like a 9mm round landing next to your ear to motivate.

Mira Sorvino was awesome with her HP..........

anybody remember the BBC program I think it was called the professionals ....bunch of MI guys in late 60's early 70's with HP's.
