Finishing up First 1911 Build

After successfully fitting, and staking the Trijicon tritium (GI with narrow tennon front) night sights today, I just had to assemble the pistol and share a few photos.

Hats off to the tech archives on this forum.
Now, time for more function testing

Thanks for the kind compliments and encouragement

As for the trigger, it is a Dlask magnesium/titanium ultralight.
I tried darkening the magnesium shoe of the trigger with cold bluing, which turned the color to a pleasing greyish bronze tone.
