I am currently thinking about taking the plunge and ordering a pro. I have researched and researched a lot, but compared to a trp is it really that much better to justify the extra cost? I genuinely would like to know. Thank you.

Anyone have a lead on a non-price gouging Pro (new or used)?

Look on addicts, they pop up from time to time. Since Springfield raised the price on the Pro's, your not paying that much more for them used with no wait.

Yes.

I've owned both. The trp is good. The pro is better. You definitely get what you pay for. Don't hesitate. You can order your pro, and you will have plenty of time to think about it.

Even if you absolutely hated the Pro, that is one of the easiest firearms to resell without any loss and more likely a small profit. It's worth the gamble to get one.

on the bill of sale is the description of the pistol , The price of the pistol and your deposit . So if you
want to make payment in the 24 month wait time it goes toward the invoice and you get a receipt .
Makes it real easy . When the pistol comes in you redo the back ground check and wait time and pay
for the pistol .
How does your dealer submit a 4473 for the background check without the weapon serial number that is required in Section D #28?

The backgound check is done though the state of Illinois buy phone to make
sure my ID , FOID are up to date and I have no convictions on my record that
would void them . Then when the pistol comes in , a second background check
is done with serial number and the 48 hour wait clock starts at that time when
the pistol is fully paid for . The check is on me not the weapon the first time .

Because everyone needs one Pro for each hand . It will also balance out
your shoulder rig with one pistol under each arm . Looking forward too
the pictures .

Agreed!

First day out on the range with my gently used (carbon grips) Pro and brought the safe queen Pro out, opened the box to give it a little air!

Man, this gun makes me look MUCH better than I am...

Your safe queen Pro appears to have the Nowlin BBL there ProCoach, or at least it appears that way.
