Picked this one up new about three weeks ago. 600 rounds so far, zero issues. Nice gun.

The trigger feels "slightly" better on the falcon. Fit and finish is awesome on both pistols

Wait wait wait

I have a pair I ordered from George at Gunslingers 33 months ago. I tried calling him today, maybe they're off for the week. I hope I hear word soon or I'll have to try another seller. Almost 3 years wasted...

I've done a lot of business with George and have had nothing but great experiences. I'd recommend emailing though

I do not know if this has been talked about before or not . All Pro's have a serial
number on them that starts with CRG . I just found out that it stands for
Crisis Response Group . New to me so I'am passing it along . 7 months and
counting for my railed Pro to arrive .

The section is actually called CIRG - Critical Incident Response Group.

Probably shortened to CRG for serial numbering purposes.

This is what I thought "CRG" stood for also.

This is correct. Critical Incident Response Group....shortened.

It is also important to note that not every Pro produced begins with CRG as the prefix....there are others generally not available to public consumption.

Anyone have similar experiences re Night Sites on your Pro Rail models?

I was fortunate to purchase a NIB Pro Rail that the original purchaser changed his mind and never did the FFL ppw to take it home and it had been sitting in the dealers safe-

Build date was 2/2015, and I noticed the rear sights have 2014 on them and front sight has 2015.. I'm assuming SA used the old/ but new stock rear sight from 2014 that they may have had left over while building this Pro, and used new 2015 front sights...

Anyone have similar experiences with your front and rear sight dates inconsistent like this from a new build?

Wasn't sure if this is worth the while to ask SA and have them appropriately install my rear sight with a 2015 one like the front (Since this was after all a 2015 model)... Just don't want the short end of the stick on the tritium that may have been one year older, especially if it was produced Jan 2014. If it was one from December 2014, that I can live with since its relatively in line and close enough to when the gun was made in 2015

TIA for any feedback and input

I have 10 Pro's and most are like that. I think they are using up old stock first and not many builders use true Novaks, so they may be a surplus of them out there. Springfield uses them exclusively on the Pro.

I refinish a gun about every 5-6 years cause they are beat up and have new sights put on then they refinish the gun. Generally, your sights don't get refinished, so that's why I do that.

Pretty sure Springfield isn't going to entertain your request of swapping the rear sight for one that's stamped 2015, I could be wrong.. I've owned over 100 Springfields.

Short end of the stick? You have a gun that very, very few people own. I actually have more Pro's the 2 FBI regional SWAT teams have combined.

Great information and insight Combat Vet, thank you sir. Good to know that the dates in my sights were not unique to my Pro.
