NRA Email about Canceled Annual Meetings

I just got an email from the NRA that they have canceled the Annual Meetings in Nashville. Anyone else get that email?

Email hasn't yet arrived in my inbox, but I'm pretty certain it's coming soon.

Maybe it was sent out first to Golden Eagle (etc.) level members first, or past attendees.

The sooner people and sponsors know, they can avoid devoting resources to something that won't occur.

"...we have reluctantly decided to cancel this year’s NRA Annual Meeting, planned for April 16 – 19 in Nashville. This applies to all events and scheduled programs, including the NRA-ILA Forum. We sincerely regret the need for this action, particularly for our many loyal members who join us for this annual celebration of the NRA and our constitutional freedoms. Details regarding a rescheduled NRA Members’ Meeting will be forthcoming."

Thanks chrys. After I posted this, I got a few emails and text messages from a few friends that are vendors/service providers that they were notified a week or so ago. I did not have plans to attend this time around, but it saddens me for all those that had planned to attend and had made reservations and so forth.

Inevitable since all meetings of large groups have been banned for now.

Yep, I suspected it would be, but didn't get the email notification until today. No big deal. In order to not clutter things further, I locking this thread.
