Kimber KHX or Aegis

I am looking at the KHX and Aegis with the installed red dot sights. Other than the different sight manufacturer and the curved butt on the Aegis, what is different in these two models? I know the finish is different but the KHX is more considerably more expensive. Which would you buy and why?

Mainly just a different look. I have the KHX but the Aegis would have been fine.

I have an Aegis Custom and love it. It's been 100% reliable since day one. The round heel frame feels great in the hand.

I also have the Aegis Custom in 9mm with the Vortex optic. Been 100% reliable since new, about 1,000 rounds downrange so far with nary a bobble. Running both Kimber and WC magazines.

I'm new to these optics, and after a lifetime of shootin' with irons, I'm a convert....more accurate, much faster repeat shots.

I'm now considering a KHX or another Aegis, but in the 4" Pro configuration with optic. I don't think the OP will be disappointed with either model.

I'm liking the Aegis Elite Pro mostly due to the round heel.

I just traded one of my H&K's, 45c LEM, to order the Aegis Elite Pro, no optic in 9mm. One of the things I remember from years ago is that originally the Aegis was created to shoot 9mm not a scaled down .45. I guess this is not true any longer. However I have a Kimber Stainless 1911 Custom 9mm 5" that has been flawless so far. I'm told there is a 6-8 week wait but I have another gun or two (sarcasm) so that's OK.
