Those who beat their swords into plowshares...

...will end up plowing for those who don't.

Here is the latest brilliant idea from the pansies: an organization that will turn your donated gun into a garden tool:

As we lose more than 100 people a day to gun violence in the United States, itís becoming more and more clear that guns have no place in conflict resolution
Yes, because calmly reasoning with the thug who broke into your house at 2am or road-rager who ran you off the road just so he can bash your head in works so much better.

Regarding vintage 1911s, pre-1970 pistols are highly collectible in original, unaltered condition and should NEVER be refinished or modified as it completely ruins their monetary value.

The whole "100 a day" argument (if it's true) can be lowered dramatically if you don't count gangs in cities with strict gun laws, self-defense shootings, and suicides.

I just find the whole concept of turning a hardcore gangbanger in an avid gardener hilarious. That and giving your $500 gun to them and getting back a $15 garden tool.

The misunderstanding of what Scripture is saying is shocking in the article and just as shocking by people on this forum.

These are the kind of fools who go into extremely dangerous places and wind up getting raped and murdered by the wonderful people they were trying to help.

My gun is mostly plastic. Will it be safe as a garden tool?

I'm turning my garden tools into swords. And axes. And polearms. And a BF cannon. Just in case.

Great! Then when the homeowner brains a burglar with his spade, they can continue to call it "gun violence".

Swords won't be made into plowshares until the Prince of Peace comes to establish His kingdom. Until then, swords and firearms will be needed to keep evil in check.

If you talk about murders and conservatively estimate 17,000 (which I think is ALL murders) it comes out to about 46.5/day. Did any of us really expect accuracy from that faction?

This week two women protesting gun violence in a Chicago neighborhood were killed by gang bangers committing a drive by. The story was on Fox a few hours, and dissapeared. It never even got mentioned by CNN. Only conservative gun owners can be a problem on leftist media. The "rich and vibrant" inner-city culture can do no evil in their eyes.

So I turn in all my guns and get garden tools for my troubles. I assume that since I am now unarmed and at the mercy of any swinging dick criminal, that none of those garden tools happened to be a machete...

So how would one reduce the murder rate for real though?

I'm guessing sending the National Guard through crime infested ****holes, and stacking gang bangers like wood wouldn't play well in the media.

Perhaps we should instead look into heavier penalties for violent crime.

If your new garden tool gets stolen, do you still have to contact the police and report it stolen? Probably...

Cute children are always used to push an agenda.

It's weird how you can have a whole class of American citizen that no one really cares about. Gun control is not about saving lives, it never was. It's all about control. Some pecker head goes bonkers and kills people, and the dems start screaming for gun control.

People are murdered every day in dem controlled strongholds, and they always have strictest gun control laws. Homicide after homicide in Chicago, and no one says ****. It makes me sad and angry.

Good grief, let's not be using racially insensitive remarks. She's someone's kid.

What I find more disturbing is the horrible quality of that tool. I made better ones in Middle School shop class. It would also be really ironic if the head flew off that handle during use (looks quite likely) and killed or injured someone.

It's not yet the last days, so I'll stick with the plowshares into swords plan.

And there we have it. Scripture in context. I will hold off unti then, when the world will know war no more. Don’t think we are there yet.

Yep, and gang-bangers don't use "background checks".
