GSG 1911 22 shooting high

Hi all, as my other post states I got the upgrade for my GSG 1911 22 with the steel guide rod and where the barrel is fitted to the barrel nut. I just shot the gun and it is shooting about 6-8 inches high. I know they gave an assortment of front sights so my first thought was I would replace it with a taller one. Unfortunately the tallest one is on my gun. First am I correct that if my gun is shooting high I would need a taller front sight? Second is there anything I can do aside from replacing the sights? If I do replace does anyone have any good options?

Dawson precision has different front sights available. Their web site has a sight height calculator to help you get the right one.

CW accessories has a sight set which is designed to work with their barrel bushing kit. I can say from direct experience that it works perfectly.
