Do you have one?
Does it say "Patented 6560907" ?

If so then yes, checkmate for sure.
My kimber mags are Checkmate.

Both the 7 and 8 round mags are made by Mec-Gar.

During the rush a few years ago, I was looking for a single additional 7 rd mag so I'd be able to at least fill my mag pouch. The regular ordering locations couldn't help me, but I called Remington's repair shop and they let me buy a mag from them. When it arrived, it was a standard mag just exactly like the two that came with the pistol, but it was in a sealed plastic bag that had a parts label on it that said it was manufactured by Mec-Gar.
