Semi-New 1911 Guy

Hello everyone! I’m new to the forum but I’ve creeped on here before trying to learn as much as I can. I’ve had a Rock Island 1911 since 2013 and I just recently started tinkering with it. I installed a Wilson Combat High Ride beaver tail earlier today. Pretty excited to keep learning what else I can do with them!

Hi from North Dakota
Formerly "flinch" on the forum, but that's a story in itself

Welcome to our 1911 forum from Italy.
Anything with a FLGR is fluff, if JMB didn't put it on the 1911 you don't need it.
If you're going to collect, be careful not to get drawn to a piece that is not original, make sure it is a very good example and buy the gun not the story.
