Like all of us, I am hoping the State of Arkansas permits us to come in and have our week of friendship, shooting, and fun! If so, these are the firearms I am bringing (in case anyone had a desire to try them):

My Wilson AR9X with Vortex Venom and MBX compensator (for now), Wilson EDC-X9L with SRO, and X-Tac Elite **edited**. All are 9mm.

Non-Wilson guns: STI Staccato XC with SRO (9mm), M&P 2.0 9mm by Ed Brown with Holosun 507CV2, and Kimber Ultra Raptor (.45). I will also have my SA TRP Operator 10mm but likely won't be shot since I am having Wilson do work on it.

Any other requests?

We are still on the fence with the Florida travel guidelines. Hope to know this week for sure. I am wondering if AR has any travel restrictions for out of town types. I emailed the state coordinator and waiting for a reply. Carrol county has only 6 reported cases which is pretty low but passing thru Tenn and staying MS is a concern. Our plan is staying in Mississippi first night out at the Hampton Inn - they guarantee a super clean room. We will see.

Another update: for those who have taken the tour of the Wilson facility, we have been asked to limit this year's tour to only those folks that have not taken it before. This is, of course, due to Covid19.

Seriously, is WC restricting storefront visits? By appointment only?

For all intents and purposes, yes. We have a special consideration as long as we're limiting group size for inside the facility.

Well my wife and I cancelled out with much disappointment. She just didn't feel comfortable with traveling through multiple states with rest stops. I did offer to buy marine toilet for the suv....she said I am always thinking. So there is next year I hope. Would like to Thank Roger and everyone else involved putting this together. It just doesn't happen by itself. So, till next year - have a great time and looking forward to meeting this group in the future.

Just for the information of fellow forum members, there is good information on these following vetted websites about travel into/within Arkansas:

https://www.arkansas.com/travel-advisory/covid-19

The above basically says that if you are from one of those states, you have to self-quarantine for (14) days upon entering Arkansas. That is current.

https://governor.arkansas.gov/images...EO_20-13._.pdf

The above is the latest published E.O. from the governor which relates to our Bash. Feel free to read for yourself, but the salient points are that we only have to "social distance" 6ft. apart at any of the outdoor shooting facilities/parks that we attend (pg. 2, Para 2(b)). Not an issue whatsoever if you have ever been there.

The lodging restrictions would still seem to be limited by the above Order and who is technically permitted to stay may not apply to everyone (pg. 3, Para 4 (a)-(m)). What the hotel chooses to do, however, is on them. Now that all being said about lodging, the following link tells a different story:

https://arkansasready.com/resources/...-term-rentals/

It is from an official site and does post-date the last "officially published" E.O., so I would say we would all be free to stay at the hotel.

All things considered - there is no telling what W.C. will be doing as a company due to concerns of out-of-state people coming into their facility and internal choices they must make for their employees. Arkansas is still technically in Phase 1 of reopening and the governor has postponed Phase 2 as of now.

As for me - regardless - I am attending.

Update - Main Bash

I just heard from Wilson Combat while I was out running errands today for my brother that is without transportation. The Main Bash portion - that is the portion with the Thursday afternoon tour and the all day Friday shoot with the Wilson folks, is postponed to next year. For anyone that was drawn for this year's Main Bash, let me know if you want to retain your place for next year on the roster and it will be done.

As Ytown1911 states above, the Reunion part of the Bash will still be held and will last all week or until everyone gets tired and wishes to return home. I will be there, as will several other folks that signed up for both Main and Reunion or just for Reunion. I will of course be there.

I apologize for the lateness of the news, but there was hope that the Arkansas governor would progress to Phase 2 of opening up the state by now, but since that has not happened, it is not possible for the Main part of the Bash to go forward for this year. Everyone stay safe and well, hope to meet some of you next year; and God bless.

Disappointing but understandable. My crew will be there for the reunion festivities. I suspect the other usual suspects will be too.

We are responsible for the cost of our own t-shirts this year. They will be $20 each if you want yours, I'm absorbing the cost of 4 that I ordered for a few Wilson folks plus the cost of the Wilson logo on each shirt. If you don't want yours, I will have Wilson sell them at a discount to their employees and give me a credit on my next order.

So far, I still show 16 people coming for the reunion part: apipeguy and wife, D.1911 and fiancé, Striker and GF, Pit, Ytown1911, 2 of the organizers, Jim Wall of Milt Sparks holsters, Jason Winnie and wife, James3612 and wife, and Redford. If you are coming and are not mentioned above, please let me know so I can get you on this year's reunion-only list. If you see your name above and do not plan to attend at all, let me know so we can coordinate getting your t-shirt(s) to you. All who are still coming, travel safely.

[thumbs up] Glad to hear you'll be there!

BTW - there will be no access to the Wilson facility. I am working on the arrangements of ordering stuff for the Bash.

Roger,

Since we will not be at Bill’s old place or Ryan’s property, do we have the full week’s use of the park for shooting? or is it just Monday through Wednesday for the traditional “reunion”?
