Thermal/Night Vision for AR?

I hear FLIR is ending Civilian Sales.

A local shop has some FLIR Thermal Scopes for $3700.

He'd had some for $2100 but those are "No Longer Available".

Any ideas for someone totally ignorant?

FLIR is no longer doing civilian sales. ATN is decent. I'd recommend just getting a pair of night vision goggles and use them in conjunction with Night Vision goggle compatible optics. Night vision rifle optics add unnecessary bulk to the rifle they sit on, during the day.

UNLESS you own multiple AR's, and have a DEDICATED "night shift" AR... TROOF.
