Stayed Tuned, it IS Coming!

I've had many guns tweaked, tuned and one special one built from the ground up by Rob when he operated Alchemy Custom Weaponry. My FAVORITE by far, of ALL my pistols is the Springer "Pro 2.1" He built for me just before going to Cabot. it started life as a new Mil Spec and lives now as a 4.5 inch, FULL CYCLE 45 ACP blaster. As superb a gun as I have ever owned, shot and handled. Last night, after many conversations, I ordered, from my main man, George at Gunslingers, an ACW/Cabot pistol, my first of several I am sure. THIS one will be very special, but this is just a teaser...STAY tuned! Here are a couple of pics of the ACW Pro 2.0 for teasing

I keep waiting to see that Springer Pro up for sale (on other sites of course) but never have. I’m betting that is one fantastic gun.

Anticipating photos and a range report on the new gun when it arrives.

It is truly one I'll never sell..It's that special to me. Rob put a lot of work and love into this and I believe it is the LAST one he built at ACW before closing shop...From the diamond checkering on the msh and front strap to the tuned Nowlin barrel, it is as much of a one of a kind I'll ever have. I asked him to engrave his signature, which he reluctantly did, under the grip panels.

On the bench:

And you should not, it is a very special gun. I remember your postings on it when you first received it.

Bigdaddymike . I would have thought you owned one of the first ACW pistols .
Knowing about the work Rob had done for you in the pasted . Great to see you
finally get an ACW . What model are you getting ?

I've opted for a Prime Elite for my first, with some special touches...

YIPPIKAYAY!! My desired option(s) were approved by the guys at Cabot! See if you can figure this out. They appear on the ACW web site under 'options' HINT...There are 2 of them!

Since they had all their 'top level' meetings and agreed and changed the web site, I can now safely report it is a Prime Elite in 38 Super with Ball Cuts and a fiber optic sight up front . I am not a fan of the gold bead and it is worthless on a working gun, IMHO. I cannot wait, but alas I have to, it'll be early 2020 before I get my mits on her. More to come!

I could not agree with you more on the Gold bead front sight . Once the pistol
gets two magazines through it , its useless . Nice choice

Did ACW send you pics once they started your build? How on earth have you been able to handle the anticipation? Mine will be done approx. September. Yours is looking very nice!

I see a hook on your barrel feet. I have never seen anything like that or maybe its just the lighting on the image.

I am assuming its a hard fit!!!

cool number to go with some Spartan grips!

Very nice.... and the magwell is a +.

I am ready for you to get it!

I've known Rob for several years. We talk occasionally, so whenever I have something he is working on or a build, I'll ask for updates periodically. The anticipation is ok, you get used to waiting on things worth waiting for and I have plenty to shoot in the mean time...

Not sure what that is and it is NOT hard fit, per Rob's definition. As far as grips, I have a nice set of Ocean Blue Mammoth Ivories by Dan Chinnock waiting for this particular gun. Rob's magwells and ball cuts are without equal. His attention to detail is meticulous!
