Let's see pictures of your Regent or Tisas 1911s!

I'm not positive, but I think Regent and Tisas might be made by the same company in Turkey?

Either way, they make some interesting 1911's. Let's see yours!

Here's my R200S, with the Ed Brown trigger I put in.. At some point I plan to put the Ed Brown Arched MSH back on it, and possibly a EGW GS.

We should have a section for Turkish made 1911's, Tisas, Girsan, Regent, Umarex, and any others I may have missed.

This is one of many of the Tisas I own. This one is factory black with a Fusion trigger and trigger job, oh and after market grips or course.

My last Turkish 1911 is a Girsan that my wife bought me for Christmas a couple years back, I had some lightening cuts done in the slide and changed the grips and trigger and also did a trigger job on it.

I am currently in the middle of my Tisas project and it has been a fun venture I'll post some pics once I am done with it
I think I'm going to send it off to alchemy and get the sights cut for Novak sights though

My Regent (Big Al)

Picture I took when they retired the legendary #2 (hockey fanatics will recognize). Turkish guns across the board (1911's included) are beginning to attract the kind of attention that many of us have been aware of for quite some time...Serbia is a similar case in Europe with Zastava though not applicable (yet) to 1911's.

Merry Christmas to All!
