When did Springfield change their roll marks?

Locally, in Utah, we have a website where people can buy/sell/trade guns face to face, and I check it daily to see if there’s good deals to be had (missed a few Pythons).

I’ve been noticing the the newer Springfield’s listed have new roll marks. They appear to have the model name rolled onto the left side of the slide. Like “Loaded”, or “Range Officer”.

Part of my personal appeal to Springfield was that they *didn't* do that.

I do like the new font, I guess we have to deal with the model name being rolled on the slide, other companies do it.

The Custom Shop thing is a shame. Trouble is, they could be selling a ton of high end custom guns if they had the right mix of models and the right plan.

Dam strait , well said , They could also be checkering and refinishing
along with doing trigger jobs on half their stock line ..

Look at who was running it after Dave Williams left . The worst Customer
service manager of all time . The last person you ever want to talk to
Customers , Will not call people back , makes people call her 3 or 4 times
to straiten out a mistake that she made . Thank whoever for getting rid
of the most incompetent fool ever to grace a job at SACS ..

By Debbie you will not be missed after the way you treated me .

When I'am buying 3000.00 dollar pistols I should not be calling A company
Manager multiple times to remind them of what they forgot to do . Or leave
multiple messages on a voice mail , never to get a return phone call .

Also when you wait for a pistol 2 years to be made then you raise the prices
1 1/2 years into the build . So 6 months before delivery ask for 600.00
more then you were quoted . So it was 2795.00 when ordered then it
bumped up to 3395.00 when it arrives .

Guess what . That means you SUCK at your job .
