New Mil-spec Defender Series

I picked this up last week before the run on guns due to the outbreak. I had been saving for it for a couple months. $499 for a 1911 of this quality made it a must purchase. I remember missing out on the SA GI model eight or ten years ago and the Norincos back in the nineties. I did not want to miss this deal

Here are some pictures



The VIS has no bow-tie relief cut as is usual for these. The ejector is pinned.



I have just received and installed these SA black plastic grips with the logo. I like the look.

Congrats on your purchase. I bought one last December, a from me to me Christmas present. Wait till you see how well it shoots. You will be even more impressed.

if it shoots anywhere near as good as it looks itíll qualify as the deal of the century. Imho.

Best 1911 value on the market IMO. Lot of nice features you'd pay twice the money for on other makes and models.

SA, in my limited experience, does not do bow-ties.
On my TRP I slightly tapered the barrel feet. On my Pro I may but I'm not sure of the need.
