Les Baer Custom Carry front sight height?

Hello, I am looking to replace my Les Baer Custom Carry's front night sight with a Dawson Precision fiber optic front sight. Does anyone know what the right front sight height would be? I don't have a set of calipers or I would just measure my self.

Also I am installing a 10-8 low mount rear sight in standard .325 height if that makes a difference.

Thanks

My 2007 CC came with a .175 front sight. It hit pretty much at the tip of the sight at 10-20 yards.

A .180 will work good with that 10-8 rear.

I went with a Dawson adjustable and .190 myself.

The only way to know what height FS you need is to shoot group with existing FS, measure the high/low from POA and extrapolate using a known calculation:
That's the downside to "fixed sights".
If "close enough" works for you, great. I prefer the POI to be in the center of the FO element.

Good point. That's what I did. Decided I like a bit of a 6 o'clock hold.
