Suspicious email

Anybody else get an email from (1911Forum.com <[email protected]>) indicating:

We’re sending you a package and we have to warn you…

There’s something razor-sharp inside.

Since you were a customer with us in the past…

We’re hooking you up with a free Raptor Claw Karambit Knife…

Which is a $49 knife with a 5-star rating.

It’s packaged and ready to send to you.

Just enter the US mailing address where you would like to receive
your free Raptor Claw Karambit Knife:

I don't think I'm going to click on any of the links in the email, unless I hear from someone on the Forum, indicating this is legit.

"Since you were a customer with us in the past…" ....Customer??? Customer of what?

Remember, the only one who can give you 'free' stuff, is the U.S. Gov't. And even then, it might as well be from a Nigerian prince, because either way, 'free' costs us dearly in the end!!!!

And by the way, where's my free karambit email, darn it?????????

Get these all the time from various groups. “Just pay shipping” Typically cheap junk you see at gun shows.

It's probably marketing... I suspect email addresses have been sold.
It's also a safe bet that whatever they are marketing isn't valuable if they are "giving" it away.
