Okay.....this is getting crazy.

I've always enjoyed my 5" 1911's. Still do....always will, Lord willing.

The warmer weather here has had me not wearing coats, jackets, sweaters, sweatshirts, etc, etc.
Spring is a fast season....last about a month and then it's full-on Summer until November....no kidding.

Over the last few months I've added commanders, cco's & similar slide length gats.

Typical everyday clothes will become a tech fabric undershirt and ether a t-shirt, golf shirt or fishing shirt over it.

I had a single Sparks SS2 for those 4.25" slides. The heat & humidity really does favor giving it a rest every other day. Wanted another...or something very similar. Gave Sam Andrews a call and ordered one of his MacDaniel2 holsters. Looking forward to giving it some saddle time as soon as it comes in.

A WC EDC X9 is on order. Tucker HF-1 is being made for it and will likely be here ahead of the gun arriving. It's my first Tucker and was ordered after reading the overwhelming number of positive reviews by members here and other gun forums.

I planned on trying out the Andrews MacDaniel2 on existing 4.25" slided-pistolas and if it's good to go...ordering one for the coming EDC X9, giving me IWB & OWB leather for it.

Only thing needed was OWB option for the commanders & cco's.

Saw that WC had their shark trimmed LoPro2 for 20% off and jumped on it.

Done and done with guns & leather for the rest of 2020....now the focus is on getting my reloading bench set up and running....testing out various loads and stocking up on components.

Alltheway: if your waiting delivery from Rocky - relax, you will be more than happy with the product. I'm sure he's backed up some what.

He has a great product - you'll enjoy.

In my opinion, those are the best IWB and OWB holsters, respectively.

Yep, I have a Criterion for commander size coming soon, as I ordered it about 12 or 13 weeks ago. It's for my Hackathorn Special Commander. I have found the Lo-Profile II to be a superb OWB, don't know who the maker is; as an alternative OWB the Jason Winnie J121 works very well also.

Sweet IWB Sparks, there.

I'm just getting acclimated to the Lo-Profile II and I really like it.

I believe the maker is Palmetto Leather Works located in Columbia, South Carolina.

I pass through Columbia every month or so. Maybe one of these days I'll take the time to drop in and check out their shop.

I'm liking what they did with my LoPro2 thus far.

The WC LoPro2 & Andrews MacDaniel2 both arrived a day apart. Both fit 4.25" slides.

Forgive my lazy pics taken from the recliner. Today is my first day off work and it's been a relaxing morning sipping coffee.

Very pleased with both. Sam Andrews does an amazing job. The fit and boning is superb. His edges really demonstrate the effort he puts into his work. Great guy who's character shows in his products. This is my first Andrews, but will not be my last....Lord willing.

The MacDaniel2 came with two different sized loops. They are easily exchanged with a flat head screwdriver in a couple minutes. The cant angle can be adjusted, too.

The interior of the holster is smooth and slick.

Trigger coverage is full. Sweat shield is ample and provides great comfort. I'm extremely happy with this holster.

I would like to add i got a call from Tim with ttgunleather today. Iv ordered 4 holsters from him now and he noticed 1 of the rigs I ordered was lefty and the other 3 were right handed. He was just calling to make sure that's what I wanted and not a typo. Didn't speak long but he seemed very professional and i appreciate the good customer service. Can't say enough good things about ttgunleather.

Got my Savoy leather in today. Ordered it Christmas day so we're about 4 months in.
Not disappointed. It looks nice. The leather seems to be good quality. Im not sure what i was thinking adding a mag pouch to this because, its a heavy rig. Not something i see myself carrying all the time. But a cz97 isn't small.

Got my other 2 ttgunleather in the mail today. Have to say I'm impressed. So far, after a just about 30 minutes of wearing them each, surprisingly the iwb is the most comfortable. Both are high quality. But feel free to comment.

Two months to the day....my Tucker HF-1 & mag holster arrived.

Went with a lined model made for an EDC X9 that should be completed soon.

Holster looks good to me...nice and stiff. I think the ride height with that X9 is going to be to my liking.

Going on week 4 of waiting for my Wright Leatherworks predator holster. Lead time was 8-10 weeks so hopefully I'm about halfway there.

I'll bet that is one super comfortable holster.

Good news for you is it appears that Wright is in full operation during this COVID-era craziness.

I was very happy to find this gem in my mailbox today. They are classics for a reason...they are mighty comfortable. I really like the ride height. I wear a commander size often. This one is for my gubmint models.

Almost....almost went with a straight drop but decided to go with the cant.

I have some of their Criterions that were built a bit more dressier, they are mighty comfortable, too. But for everyday use with jeans & cargos I really like the SS2. Minimal bulk stuffed behind my belt & the body shield is hugely comfortable and doesn't interfere with fit, draw, etc.

Woo-hoo! Took a nice call from Milt Parks today. My mid December order (quoted 20 weeks) is shipping tomorrow.

3 holsters, a belt, two mag pouches. Talk about a right on the money quoted delivery😊
