A WarBird in the Making ..

Placed an order for my 2nd WarBird Holster from Paul. This time it's an Avenger style to compliment my EDC - 38 Superb Guardian ... nothing fancy standard dark brown cowhide to house my partner while an old man piddles around ....

Thinking Andy at Horseshoe Leather might not be a viable option anymore. Pity. It’s been over a year and Andy doesn’t seem to be getting any better. I truly wish him all the best.
Sam Andrews and/or Ryan Grizzle will be getting the call soon for future holster needs.

Just ordered a Milt Sparks 55BN and, like the rest, they told me 14 to 20 weeks. Gonna be a long wait.

Ordered Milt Sparks Criterion in black with cordovan Shark skin mouth and a single mag holder. Wait time 14-20 weeks. See which gets here first, the holster or my Ed Brown Evo CCO9 LW which has “up to” 6 month wait. Gonna be a long wait...anxious already.

Reading through this thread, boy you fellas who are willing to wait almost a half a year for a holster amaze me. Don't think I have that kind of patience?

Now that's the kind of service I like. Beauty thanks for sharing.
PS: I have a TTGunleather belt & it's fantastic. I've worn it every day for two years & you can't tell it's that old.

I didn't think that I had it either. I tested it by ordering my first Milt Sparks Criterion. After a while, I stopped agonizing and then one day my card got charged. When the holster arrived, it was well worth the wait (do I ordered another one). The key for me was to order it and don't think too hard about the wait.

I can't believe anything could be better than that.......much less 10x the wait better.

Love to get that credit card alert from a Milt Sparks order. You know it is only about a week away. Hoping to get one shortly.

Pocket Holster

I ordered a Mika pocket holster for a Seecamp LWS 32.

My first Mika pocket holster was for a Colt Detective Special. I carried my BUG in it back in 1989.

Ordered another OWB with elephant from Paul today. At some point, I’ll take another photo of them all with their respective firearms. He is by far my favorite holster maker, followed by TT Gunleather. The beauty and function of Warbird holsters for me keeps me coming back. Didn’t even ask for a timeline, it doesn’t matter to me, he is worth the wait!

Iíve been going a bit crazy buying leather lately. Recent purchases include some Milt Sparks goodies (duh), Palmetto Leatherworks (currently waiting on a 4.25Ē 1911 holster from them), and some Nightingale Leather products. I purchased a Nightingale IWB holster that he had in stock (pictured) and am waiting on a beautiful OWB rig and mag carrier in shark from him. Should have everything in a couple of weeks.

Nightingale Leather Raptor IWB and Palmetto Leatherworks mag carrier.

Ordered two holsters, two mag pouches, and a belt from Sparks last week.

I have several others for any need, so the wait doesn’t bother me. Too much🤣
