Interesting... have you had the chance to mount a red dot and test it yet?

I was going to pull the RMR off my DVC-C and try it out, but I decided to wait until Tuesday when the SRO shows up.

It currently shoots 20" high The correct front sight should be here Saturday from Dawson

You canít go wrong with either. I donít have the STI you mention, but I do have an STI VIP and an EDC X9. I much prefer the EDC X9.

ďI love the DVC-C for carry. It's basically like a G19 and a 1911 Commander had a baby that got the best of both parents' genes.Ē

Get the grip reshaped by extreme shooters and it'll be like a whole new gun.

STI DVC accuracy

20 yard groups are 3/4Ē with a 124gr GDHP
I assume that is shooting off sandbags or using a rest. If a person claims they can consistently shoot 20 yard groups of 3/4" off-hand with any centerfire handgun, I would have to see it to believe it....

I have and use STI 2011 guns in various calibers, and I have shot sub MOA groups at distances of 20-25 yards using a sandbag rest, but never standing off-hand....even when using C-More optical sights...Ö I build my own handguns, and attached is a picture of 10 shop group when I test fired the gun.....
