Which of these is your favorite?

Costa Comp in 9 or 45?
Limited with island barrel?
Staccato C?
Tactical?

I'm undecided, I want them all.

Awesome pics, I love them all too.

I’m jumping right in to the STI world. I have a Tactical HOST coming from BBP and a Staccato C from another user, can’t wait, my first two STIs.

Tough to beat the soft shooting Costa, Staccato C or P are great everyday carry and would love to try the Island. BBP1, I would be willing to test it out for you just cause I'm a team player.

I have the Costa CC in 45, it is one of my best shooting guns - which makes it one of my favorite's :-).

I have all of them except the Limited Island. Each gun has its purpose.

My favorites? The Costa Carry Comp’s in 9mm. It’s soo soft shooting that I don’t like to train much with it as it spoils me with the lack of recoil. I usually leave it as the last gun to shoot for the day.

My most shot pistols? My Tactical 4.0’s. It’s a great balance of size and speed. I usually carry a Guardian/VIP sized gun with a 3.9” barrel and 120mm grip.

The Stccato C is a good gun and serves its purpose as a slimmer carry gun and I’m sure I’ll carry it more in summer but the grip texture is garbage. It’s not remotely as good as the Costa/TreeBark texture that the Costa and Tactical have or that the DVC texture that the Limited has. All those textures were done by Extreme Shooters for STI. I’ll be sending the Staccato C to them soon to have them work their magic on the grip.

Another member sent his C to Lou at Business End Customs for an impressive stipple job as well.

I have a feeling that the Staccato C will end up in the wife’s carry rotation once she finds out I have it and shoots it.

I have the Staccato and the Tactical, along with a DVC Carry and Hawk. And then there is the Sentinel Premiers in 9 and 45. Oh, and the Apeiro. I have not shot any of the 2011s yet. LOL.

See? That's the problem with the internet. Somebody starts a rumor, somebody repeats it, pretty soon everyone believes it's true.

(Pssst.... I'll let you know how it shoots.)

Favorite STI guns....

I shoot competitively and also carry for self defense using STI 2011 guns.

For competitive shooting, I choose an STI 2011 that is legal for that particular gun game. Compensated STI guns are legal in USPSA Open Div., but not legal in any divisions of IDPA. I use a compensated STI 2011 race gun for Action Steel shooting in the CO (centerfire optics) division.

For self defense I use an STI 2011 .38 super with a Commander length slide, Bo-Mar style adj. rear sight, F/O front sight....it looks similar to the Staccato-P with better sights.....
