Aero Kroil

Been reading the forums regarding the duty finish and some other products. I'm looking into Kroil and there's an aerosol version. Is there any issue with the aerosol version that would be an issue with the duty finish? I see it doubles as a bore cleaner as well... so if I squirt the bore with this stuff it'll get out crud? How long do I let it sit?

FTR - I have a stainless valor that I'm sending in to get a duty finish.

Thanks for the info.

Not trying to turn this into a debate on cleaners. I'm set on getting kroil I just want to make sure the aero kroil will do what I need it to.

Raul

I'm not sure if it matters or not but one version of the Aero Kroil has silicon or silicone added to it. I have both types in Aero and regular spout cans of Kroil. Idk if the additive will affect the Duty finish or not.

Kroil is great stuff. I've been using it since 1997. We carried it on all of our service trucks for heavy truck & equipment repair. Our service shop kept a full supply on hand. We actually called it "Panther Piss", not sure why tho. Smells pretty good too.

I use Aero Kroil in the bore. After spraying, I let it creep under the deposits for about 20 minutes or so before using a brush and patch.
