Completely Manufactured in the USA from 416R Certified Stainless steel(eddystone verified rifle grade), these barrels are precision button rifled, hand honed and Air gauged bore. These barrel blanks are precision machined to a basic bull barrel diameter of .696" which is standard for all colt style bull barrel configurations. The 9mm blanks come in 6.120 inch length and the 45 and 40 calibers are available in 2 lengths, 6.120" and 7.120". These are long enough so that they can be turned back to any desired length you may want. Barrel-Throat area is also left with additional material so that you can finish this barrel to fit any custom project. Great for custom projects such as "Wildcat Cartridges", threading, Fluting, venting, porting...etc. Barrel hood not engraved.
On top of our UMG barrel project we are working on production for stainless springs for your 1911. We plan to offer all springs within the 1911 in a stainless option. Right now there are select recoil springs available at fusionfirearms.com

It will be a possibility eventually, you can call in and talk to a gunsmith to see what a time frame might be.

Do you have any plans to do some jazzy barrel designs, such as barrel or hood Fluting? I used 2 of your new barrel so far in some customer rebuilds, a Remington R1 and a Colt. the barrel were easy to fit and made lock-up far better than the original pistol set-up. You guys are doing a great job on these new barrels. I will be using more.

Yes we do plan to make some really cool configurations once we cover our bases and develop the 300+ we already plan to have in stock.
