It is my understanding the extractor may or may not work.
I am thinking about doing the opposite with my 9mm RO

You might get by with a barrel change alone. I have a couple of .38 super mags that I use in my 9mm pistol. Yours might work also, particularly with longer cartridges.

Barrel and bushing, probably the ejector - the stock one might be too short, change it to a 9mm and it will work with both, recoil spring - I run a 16lb with my Super barrel / 14lb with my 9mm barrel, mags. You might need to tweak the extractor.
