Not getting the weekly newsletter

For some reason I am not getting the weekly newsletter. I have not made any changes and the box is checked in my user profile. Does anyone have any suggestions to get the newsletter back?

Hey there,

Have you checked your spam mail to see if they got put into there instead of your main inbox?
If not, try adding [email protected] and [email protected] to your emails' contact/safe sender list.

The spam folder was the first place I checked. I can't figure it out. I even went into my profile and unchecked the box, saved, and rechecked the box and save again. Still nothing. It sucks because I really look forward to the weekly email.

Hey there,

I'm going to send your email to our newsletter team to see if any of the emails are being sent to you.

Thank you for your help Lee. I didn't get an email for your reply 2 days ago. But I did get an email for your last reply 45 minutes ago.

What's funny is that this has happened once before. It happened before the new format was rolled out. Then I mysteriously I just started getting them..

Thanks twodollardoug, we'll continue to work on it. Do you have another email we could update your account with to test?

Thanks for the info,

If you go into your Email Settings > Filters and Blocked Addresses
Do you see [email protected] and [email protected] being blocked?

If not, try this:

1. Select contacts from the options on the left side of the Gmail Inbox.
2. Select "Create Contact" on the top menu.
3. Enter the email address in the primary email box.
4. Select Save.

Seems like there's something wrong with the emailing system.
I'll go ahead and get this reported to the techs.

Very sorry for the inconvenience,

Ed

I wish I knew the reason why they stopped coming because if it is something I did I don't want to make the mistake again.

I gave up on the add for the newsletter when logging on and signed up for the newsletter. I have not received one as of yet and I am still getting the logon spam for the news.

Hello there,

If you go here: https://forums.1911forum.com/profile.php?do=editoptions
Receive Email > Receive a monthly newsletter from 1911Forum
Is that checked?

As for the newsletter pop-up when logging in, we're looking into this at the moment.

Ed
