Wilson 47C-HV 7 rd. Magazine

Any one use these or have tried them? I really like them as well as some of my shooting friends. They are not cheap but they have worked in several different brands of 1911's.

I have found that all my 8-round Wilson mags work well in all guns. However, not all non-Wilson mags work in other 1911s.

I have a pair of the 47C-HV ( https://shopwilsoncombat.com/1911-Ma...info/47C%2DHV/ ), they are nice.

I would have four of them, but I mistakenly ordered a pair of the 47C ( https://shopwilsoncombat.com/1911-Ma...oductinfo/47C/ ). They are also nice.

I really can't tell them apart. I haven't found a functional difference.

While the steel base pad is no doubt more durable, I actually prefer the standard pad on the regular 47.

The 47C-HV has a strong spring and the steel base pad. I also like the standard plastic base pad. I just prefer the standard 7rd magazines when using the standard length tube. If I were to try the 8rd it would be the slightly longer tube in order to get the stronger spring. When you get down to it there is not a whole lot of difference between the 47C and the 47C-HV. I think both are high quality.
