Will Biden picking Harris for VP drive up Gun sales?

I predict, even gunsmiths will be busy fixing junk to fill the void.

It might.

That of course assumes that there is actually anything left to buy.

Hope that this thread might be permitted to stay open, as Biden's candidacy and all that slogs along in its wake is of concern to many of us.

I'll guess that among those Biden might announce as choosing (he's already chosen), the pre-election damage/effects has mostly already been done. I'm not sure that his running mate selection will make things that much worse...or any better.

But in the hypothetical event (surely it cannot occur) of a Biden presidency, followed by a medical diagnosis of dementia, then yes, Biden's successor would make a big difference...but even then, how much worse is unclear.

IOW, in that dire hypothetical situation, Biden or his successor would undoubtedly sign any anti-2A bill that comes to his/her desk, and would not voice any disagreement with Pelosi or Schumer.

Will be interested in others' opinions.

Phony Kamala high capacity commemorative pistol

Maybe people will rush out and buy the model she carries? I don’t know what she used to carry, but wouldn’t it be cool for the manufacture of her gun make a “Phony Kamela” commemorative pistol with 30 round magazines... hilarious.

We already have a Harris thread running in Legal. Please continue the discussion there.

Avoid the temptation to replace everything on your brand-new 1911 just to make it "better". Know what you're changing out and why. You may spend a lot of money fixing things that weren't broken to begin with. Shoot at least 500 rounds through it first, then decide what you don't like and want to improve. Regarding vintage 1911s, pre-1970 pistols are highly collectible in original, unaltered condition and should NEVER be refinished or modified as it completely ruins their monetary value.
