Part of me has deep sympathy for the good people in Seattle who have had to endure all this lunacy,
and part of me feels like the entire city needs to burn to the ground to demonstrate natural law,
for the Neo Socialists who don't seem to understand how this planet works.

She got as much credit as she deserved to this point. Which is none. She let an entire block of her city to be off limits to cops. That’s enough right there. Now she finally did something decent, good for her; little late for personal development, but never too late.

Facing a 40% pay cut, the chief resigned.
Something about throwing your black, female police chief under the bus that leaves me wondering if black lives matter in Seattle?

The vote in the City Council to cut the police budget was a 7-1, with the lone "no" attributed to the cuts not being judged to be deep enough!

Let's keep an eye on her. I bet she gets a nice cushy Leftist-related position with a salary increase.

Wow, that is a big cut, I would assume the C.C. wanted to get rid of her and expected she would quite, if that number is correct...I'll have to downgrade my "kudos" up above for her quitting to "1/2 a kudos" , anyone with any respect for themselves would quite with a pay cut like that.

The big joke is the department "budget cut".

It is less than one percent of their budget. Talk about political grandstanding. Probably will not amount to much more than a cut back in the donuts at the stationhouse.

But then they can all go back to their constituents and say. "See how we cut back on these mean old cops. We are really looking out for you!"

The worst part about that is the morons that believe them and keep electing them.

Actually she was opposed to letting the idiots take over that precinct, but was overruled. Between being left out of city council meetings involving her department to suddenly being faced with a whopping 40% pay cut she would have had to be pretty stupid to have stayed on as police chief. I think it's pretty clear the city council was trying to get rid of her and they succeeded. The punch line is that she implied it was due to racism in one interview, which I find amusing simply because here we have a black lady accusing hardcore leftists of being racist.

That compared to the city council she looks like a fairly conservative person.

Well, I get following mayor and council orders, but I think she should have resigned then, when they overrode her opposition, not wait until now. And if she’s hinting at racism, she’s still not getting what’s afoot.

It seems like the experiment of letting liberals have reigns of power is over and the results are in. They should go back to performing and visual arts and let responsible people run real life stuff.

The people of Seattle elected the mental defectives running the city.

I thought she seemed smarter or more conservative than the mayor or city council too. She was never on board with the chopinistas. That may have a lot to do with a 40% pay cut as a way of trying to get rid of her.

The leftist eat their own eventually, just not fast enough.

The worst member of the council is Kshama Sawant, an avowed socialist and frequent s***-stirrer. Last election she was actually losing to her challenger, until the last minute when the votes from the leftist Capitol Hill district were tallied. She surged ahead and won re-election. Virtually all of her support is from the lunatics and anarchists on Capitol Hill, forcing the people in the rest of the city to put up with her Marxist antics.

Funny how it’s always a last minute “surge” in vote counts that put libtards over the top in libtard controlled cities. Those ballots never fail to miraculously appear. Is there a pre-filled ballot store that I’m not aware of?

Trump should take us completely out of the un and dynamite the building, after deporting all the un diplomats and employees. A giant middle finger to globalism--which is what the un was set up to implement.

What bothers me the most is the patterns that are forming. I'm a (still in training) pianist. And I'm into guns. And marksmanship. And IT. I *LOOK* for patterns!

What I'm seeing is "we won't prosecute rioters"

And on the very same breath "You dare stand against rioters? We will prosecute YOU!"

Folks, don't miss. If you draw, *don't*miss*.

I WILL meet you at Old North Bridge, wherever it may be. I stole that from a forum member, but it's time for all decent Americans to make a stand.

November. That's our last chance for peaceful input.

After that... well..... I'll be at Old North Bridge, wherever it may be.

This time, the Dems dropped all pretenses. If you can't see it... tough.

I do see it.

Victory...

Or Death.

When the favored candidate starts falling behind in the count no doubt somebody starts making a few phone calls.

Nahhhhh... it would be too paranoid of me to think that.

1980.

In the USA, that was Carter vs. Reagan, right?

In Puerto Rico, where I grew up, that was Carlos Romero Barcelo (roughly aligned with Reublicans, and the incumbent) vs. Rafael Hernandez Colon.(rougly aligned with the Democrats. Their logo was, and still is, Pan, Tierra Libertad - Bread, Land, Liberty)

The power goes out at the ballot counting center -- where ALL the ballots are counted. Now mind you, the Incumbent had a nice tight relationship with UTIER -- the Power Union (by Power, I mean electrcicity.)

WHen the power went down, the Incumbent was down.

When the power came back up, the Incumbent was up.

Tell me he didn't steal 1980. He totally did.

That can happen here.

Only I doubt it'd be the Incumbent, this time....

I believe Democrat Christine Gregoire stole the gubernatorial election here in WA in 2004 as well. She was trailing by several hundred votes in the end, but after two successive recounts and the sudden "discovery" of uncounted votes in liberal-leaning King County she surged ahead and won by just 129 votes. Republicans strongly suspected that many of those newly-discovered votes came from felons, double-voters and even dead people, but the state's left-leaning Supreme Court denied their challenge.

We haven't had a GOP governor since the 1990s, and I can't help but feel that it's been planned that way especially when most gubernatorial elections in this state have been extremely close.
