Completely stock CBOB in .45acp. I purchased a couple McCormick magazines which I'm trying out this Saturday, and I'm looking for new grips. These photos help a lot in the decision making process.

My CBOB

Here's my DW CBOB. I've added an EGW front bushing and plug, G-10 "horned lizard" grips from Davidson, and XS sights.

Here are just a few more of mine. No modifications yet. Thinking about an EGW bushing and plug and will eventually get a checkered MSH. Thinking about getting gunner grips or horned lizard grips as well.

Pics of my CBOB recently received. And a bonus "family" pic sans my 586 L comp which I picked up over the weekend. Sorry for the bad pics.

Not very artistic and hard to shrink to 100K, but here are my DW's with their friends.

UNmodified CBOB

Seeing pics of other people's Bobtails helped me decide on a Dan Wesson, so here's my contribution!

The stainless looks much brighter than it appears in this photo.

Just got a DW Pointman Seven to go with my CBOB.

I started to break it in yesterday. Shot 50 rounds of three different kinds of ammo, 150 rounds total. I used about eight different brand magazines. The result was as I had expected. The PM7 was flawless.

In the past I had a pre-CZ PM7 and, like a dummy, sold it. The 2008 model replacement is as nice or nicer. I'm really glad I got another Dan Wesson.

Best regards.

My new PM-7

Absolutely love this thing! I will get better pics soon, but need to show off now!

I am taking it on a week-long camping trip up to Lassen in a couple weeks. Will give a report after a few hundred rounds.

Dan Wesson Patriot Commander (it says PT-C on the slide)
Unfired, bought it earlier this week

Note the External extractor, gun was made in '05, guess it took 3 years to cross the ocean

Photos of my new Dan Wesson Valor...

Slide to frame fit is tight... Barrel to bushing is hand-lapped and tight.
The barrel lockup to slide is like a vault. The accuracy had been extreme so far. I love this gun. The finish is a cross between matte black and sniper gray ceracoat (simply stunning). Unbelievable fit and finish, siplicity at it's finest. I have 2 more on order at this moment.

had to add them to the sticky as well...

OK, here they are, my new Fire Box Elder stocks straight from the Sarge himself! They are immaculate, and almost appear to be swirling, like the clouds on Jupiter. Thanks Sarge. Only other upgrades are the tin coated torx screws to match, and notice in one pic I sanded the spring plug smooth of its uneven checkering to give it that brushed stainless look. I have a few more small things planned, but all in all what do you guys think. For now its riding in a DeSantis S.O.B. skin, but I am planning on getting something a little less cookie-cutter soon. I will post a range report in the next couple days, after replacing the old guide rod.

I don't know how you folks take such great pictures! Oh, well -- Here are some updated shots of mine, now that I have it back from service:

Everybody seems to include this shot:

I wish I could take better photos -- My PM7 is *so much* prettier than these shots make it out to be!
