Howdy from Central Texas!!!

Hello, thanks for the add, I will soon be a DW 1911 owner.
i placed an order for the ECO 45, should arrive this week.
not new to 1911s or other firearms; the current collection include:
1913 COLT 1911
Kimber UCII 45
Kimber Micro 380
S&W M&P Shield 40 PC
Colt 38 sp snub
Raven 25

I use to own a Glock 30 and Glock 36.

Welcome on board.
I'm by no means an expert, I learn something new every day, but in the last 37 years I managed to acquire some experience with handguns so now I try to share what I learned.
I still practice shooting at least twice a week, SIG Sauers and USGI 1911s are my favourite guns.
To me this is one of the best gun forums among the several I belong to.

Shoot safe.
Before you start collecting 1911s .... buy books! Don't collect something that you'll be forever making excuses for, be careful not to get drawn to a piece that is not original, and buy the gun not the story.
