From Virginia

Hello, looking to gain info on this pistol and it's mods. I picked up a Citadel a few years ago, it's been sitting on a shelf, other things just got in the way. With those gone, I want to delve into this. Searching the net, it seems the Kuhnhausen vol 1 & 2 manuals are the go to books for this. I also see where there are pdf downloads for them, but nothing works for me. I can buy them hard copy, but a pdf would be nice. Any up to date info on them?

Welcome to our 1911 forum from Italy!
Kunhausen books are important especially for the technical aspect of the 1911
Anything with a FLGR is fluff, if JMB didn't put it on the 1911 you don't need it.
If you are going to collect, don't be 'drawn' to an example that is neither original nor correct; instant gratification is always more expensive than a good education.

Hi from North Dakota
Formerly "flinch" on the forum, but that's a story in itself
