Here's mine with some friends. All 45s by the way. Second one from top on left. It's a 108284 with alumagrips. Really a fine shooter.

mak,thanks for the good pic of my favorite S&W1911 ! So far.

Mine shoots sweet;runs like the proverbial sewing machine/feeds everything. Just had to
change out the mushy thumb safety;gtg now.

I even shot some +P in mine;but,with a shok buff. It even slingshots just the same with or without buff.

Nice,healthy undercut;these guns feel great in my hands. Can be found at very decent price,GI spring guide,
everything I want;nothing I don't want.

Those are very sick. Please,do tell,where you got those beauties.

I would love to have a set or two!

I have had a real education finding
grips I like on a revolver.(N-frame).

yup...smooth wood grips are best for CCW.
original rubber grips irritates skin and rubs on clothing.
i carry the J frame on my hip.
