Sw1911pd recoil spring question

I am looking to replace the recoil spring set up in my SW1911PD Commander size pistol and want to go with the standard springs. Recommendation on proper strength # and a good source? I don't see them listed on Wolff site.

Thanks.

An earlier thread on this topic:

... gave an answer of 18#, relayed from S&W C.S.

That makes sense to me, given 20# is pretty common for a commander and the SW1911PC has a lower mass slide.

I don't have that exact 1911, but the S&W 1911sc Commander size and..........
I went with the thin full length recoil spring guide rod and the accompanying flat wire spring. Could be an illusion, but it feels smoother to me and I never had a malfunction of any type..
I believe the spring weight is 22lbs.

Mine came with an 18lb recoil spring. I bought it new in 2014 from a LGS. Nice pistols.
