Novaks custom S&W1911

Found this while looking at sights to fit my Colt. Built to be auctioned to benefit the olympic athletes in Greece. Just gos to show the S&W has the potential to be a pretty sweet piece. They left the logo though..Go figure.
Check out the mag bases.
Novaks
Deluxe presentation case as well as exhibition grade grips and magazine base pads donated by Craig Spegel.

Flawless 25x25 front strap and mainspring housing checkering as well as serrations on top of slide donated by Pete Single.
Novak adjustable rear sight with 14ct. Gold bead front sight.
Trigger job & Reliability package.
Carry Bevel Package.
Special Engraving inscription.
Novak Magazines with unique base pads.

Just thought I'd share.

Nice pics DWDude..

First time I've seen those type grip screws.Grips are really pretty. If they had built it with an internal extractor I'd be a customer.

The grips and base pads are what truly make that a beautiful pistol IMNSHO.

Anyone know where to get Spegel grips like these? Some place you could actually look at them before you buy? Spegel doesn't have a website. Who stocks these? Novaks does but their selection sucks. Anyone else?

Thanks Jungle Clone. Another member already turned me on to Pickagrip. Looks like a great place to do business with but they're out of most everything right now in full size just like everyone else I've looked at. Some Ahrends grips but no Spegel. I'll keep checking them though as they look like a good source. Next
Thx Dude
