Leupold has great LEO prices. Their full line isn't offered, but enough of the popular stuff is there to satisfy most. Most of the models I researched were 10-25% less than the best prices I could find on Optics Planet or eBay.

Rainierarms.com offers a pretty significant discount on the products they offer. I have used it quite a bit in the past couple years.

Cabelas Hometown Heros discount

Just got back from a damaging day at Cabelas. They are offering a hometown hero deal for LEO and Mil. Its employee pricing which isn't that great, however, you can clean up pretty well in the gun library.

I was looking at a Beretta 92fs for CMP hardball matches, and they had a used one for $499.99, new is 100 bucks more. Took a look at the gun and determined that it was technically used, but never fired "new." I asked the guy what the price would be with the discount, he says 469.99. Fair deal I think. Also looked at a beat up 70 series colt combat commander, wanted 899.99 said he'd part with it for 799.99. I thought it would be a great project gun.

Took both guns to the counter to pay, and turned out the Hometown hero discount was greater than what the gun "librarian" offered. Walked out the door, to return in 48 hours, with the Beretta for $425, and the Colt for $720. That discount was taken off of the original asking price too. The discount percentage on the used guns depends on how long they had been holding on to them.

They also actually had ammo in stock, got 4 boxes of 9mm for $12.74 with discount retail was $14.99.

So, even though Cabela's can be a bit of a rip, there are some good deals here and there.....Just ask my two pairs of Danner FT. Lewis' that were had for $80 each!! If you live near a Cabelas check it out. This discount was at the Richfield WI store, not sure if the deal is nation wide, but it runs today through Friday. They tend to have this sale at least twice to maybe 3 times a year.

I have found amazing deals of various ilk at www.promotive.com

You have to register, apply for active LE/Millitary teams, prove you are active, and wait for acceptance.

Not going to lie here... a pain in the arse that is 100% worth the efforts.

Fusion Firearms gives LE a very nice discount. Give Bob Serva a call, you will be surprised. It was one of the main reason I took the leap and ordered a T- Comm. If you buy some one else's pistol and want to make any major changes you will spend the same kind of money and not have a custom pistol the way you want it. Bob has been a pleasure to deal with and he builds your 1911 the way you want it.

Just wanted to plug Brownells again - I know it has already been mentioned.

Last night I looked at a cart that I had filled out - order total with shipping came to $250 so I was curious how much I had saved. I went through and quickly added up the savings and it came to just over $50! Each item had a different savings percentage, and some did not have any but all said and done it came to around 20% off. Awesome!

OMB Guns (http://www.ombguns.com/le-officer/) is a FN LEO distributor and they're prices are very good. I just ordered a new PS90 for $830 + $30 shipping through the Individual Officer program.

This is no longer true for all LEOs. I was going to order a 1911 but today I was told they wouldn't sell to me let alone give me a discount because I'm a State Trooper in a state on their naughty list. It's not illegal to buy or own a 1911 in my state but nonetheless they won't sell to me because I'm employed by the state.

This is more accurate:

For those who don't use it yet, Promotive is amazing. It has links to around 400 brands with discounts upwards of 50% for some companies. I think it may have been said before, it is a pain to sign up but definitely worth it. Click the link, sign up, and join your applicable "team."

Microtech knives offers a discount for their knives. You can go to their website and get the email for LE/Military discount. You have to send them a copy of your ID. Their rep is Mark Stilts, very good person to deal with.

Nightforce optics offers a discount, go to their site and look for it, you have to email their LEO/MIL guys with your work email, and they email you a price list. Discount ranges depending on product, usually $100+ off, which is still expensive, but if you were looking at a NF anyway...it just sweetens the deal :-)
