I took a 1911 build class back in february. It took me a while to get the pistol finished out. But here it is, the link is to a blog post about the class / experience.

The group was from one 18 round mag.

Nice job, good job fitting the beaver tail also. I've never seen a beaver tail with "arms" like that. Did you crown the barrel yourself too?

Very nice, 18 round mag, is it a 9mm? Beautiful sidearm.
