Can you say "MS Paint." I'm assuming you are covering the serial #. Just cover it with the edit function on any number of programs that I can assure you are on your comp. Nice pistol.

Wilson Information

Guys, this Colt turned up in a friend of mine's dad's guns after his death. The Colt dates to 78-79. A call to Wilson was no help in finding a value on the gun, only stating that to be stamped Wilson Combat it had to have a minimum of 1000.00 worth of work done to it. You guy's are WAY into Wilsons and I wondered if some of you may be able to provide me some information and maybe a value so it can be put on the sales block.
Thanks!

This Wilson Classic Supergrade has a “quality without a name”, a term Christopher Alexander uses for designs that have intangible qualities, something you can’t quite put your finger on.

The workflow design to build something like this pistol has the heritage of Wilson Combat ingrained in the steel. It’s hard to describe, the pistol just resonates when you handle it. Kind of magical, like Bill Wilson enchanted it himself, or at least Jim Wilson did, almost as good.

Well, first time post here as a member. Not completely new to the 1911 scene as I have been shooting a Kimber Target TLE II Gold Match for a while now; however I went all in and bought my dream 1911 today - a Wilson Combat Classic.

I certainly love the feel of it thus far and am quite excited to take it to the range ASAP. I'll post back when I do. In the mean time, enjoy some pics of this fine piece of hardware.

Hi, this is my first post and I hope I do it right. Anyway this is my first custom pistol from Wilson. It is an Elite Professional 1911 .45 ACP. The upgrades include light rail, bullet proof extractor, bevel frame and flush cut slide stop, and I cut down the ambi safety so later I can add laser grips. This will be my duty gun. I am a police officer here in CA. Thank You Wilson Combat!!

Here you go, embroid, in case anyone is lazy like I am. I absolutely love what you've done with this pistol.

I just received my first Wilson. I bought it used from a fellow forum member, and I could not be happier. It may end up taking a trip back to Wilson for some 10-8 sights later on, but for now, I'm just trying to adjust back to 3-dots. Here is some obligatory new (used) gun pron:
